Self-Development: The Given Reality
We Humans, Like All Other Beings, Also Have To Look Upon Our Survival, But We Also Have Relatively More Capability For Reasoning Than Any Other Beings Found Until Now. But Unfortunately, Most People Are Ready To Compromise Anything By Taking Convenient Decisions Rather Than The Right Ones, Knowingly Or Unknowingly, Mainly For Their Survival, Therefore Harming Their Own Lives & Those Of Others Too. So We Should Develop Our Conscience To Make Better Decisions.
According To Me, Self-Development Is The Given Reality Of Our Lives, As It Helps Us Gain More Clarity About Our Lives & Lead A Truly Meaningful & Purposeful Life. Please Remember That It's Not The Ultimate Reality. It's Yet To Be Found, If There's Any. I’ve Created A Framework For Self-Development That I Refine Whenever Needed. It's Completely Open To Changes, Whether It Be The Addition Or Subtraction Of Any Points, Categories, Or Sub-Categories In It. It’s Strictly Not Open To Interpretation, As It Causes A Lot Of Confusion & Misunderstanding.
(1) Meaning: It is the process by which one's own character and abilities are gradually developed.
(2) Every Conscious Action We Perform Or Are Going To Perform Is Inherently Self-Interested
(A) Conscious Action-Taking Process: Observe -> Think & Understand -> Intend -> Decide -> Act.
(B) Conscious Decision-Making Process: All our conscious decisions are based on our determining desire at that moment, which is influenced by our determining pursuit of pleasure and/or avoidance of pain at that moment, which is/are shaped by our determining biological and/or environmental factor(s) at that moment that are beyond our control.
(3) Right Values: Values are the core beliefs that shape our lives. All the Right Values begin with the phrase “Mostly Try Our Best To”, and they are as follows:
(A) Be Honest With Ourselves & Others
(B) Be Self-Aware
(C) Set Important Long-Term Goals & Prioritize Them
(D) Properly Understand How We Acquire Knowledge & Shape Our Beliefs
(E) Acknowledge The Limits Of Our Knowledge
(F) Be Open-Minded
(G) Seek Clarity In Everything We Do
(H) Be Unbiased
(I) Seek Actionable Knowledge
(J) Be Skeptical Until Properly Justified
(L) Never Overgeneralize Anything Or Normalize Wrong Things
(M) Make Right Decisions Over Convenient Decisions
(N) Be Self-Reliant
(O) Do Everything Step-By-Step
(P) Be Solution-Oriented
(Q) Create Win-Win Situations
(R) Contribute To The Greater Good
(S) Eradicate All Unnecessary Suffering
(T) Properly Understand The Fundamental Aspects Of Reality
(V) Properly Understand The Good Traits & The Bad Traits
(W) Properly Understand Failure & Success
(X) Properly Understand The Guiding Principles
(4) The Good Person's Test Based On Consumption:
(A) Question-1: Do we consider a good person to be someone who mostly tries their best to eradicate all unnecessary suffering?
(B) Question-2: Are we a good person based on consumption?
(C) Consumption-Suffering Relationship:
• Consumption -> Consumption-Based Suffering
• Unnecessary Consumption -> Unnecessary Consumption-Based Suffering
• Eradicate Unnecessary Consumption -> Eradicate Unnecessary Consumption-Based Suffering
(D) Necessary Actions: A good person based on consumption will mostly try their best to eradicate all unnecessary consumption in their own life and promote two principles to as many people as possible throughout their lifetime: mostly try our best to eradicate all unnecessary consumption in our own lives and the promotion of this principle to as many people as possible throughout our lifetime.
(E) Conclusion: If a person does the necessary actions, then they're a good person based on consumption, and if a person isn't doing the necessary actions, then they aren't a good person based on consumption.
